The archeological site of Mount Irsi
From the remains of a Roman villa to medieval settlements

A few kms from Irsina lays Mount Irsi, a site of extraordinary importance due to its archeological findings. Satellite technology has uncovered the existence of a city wall and castle from a fortified medieval settlement. Furthermore, still visible today, are the remains of an ancient monastery dating back to the 12th century.
